Akademia Sztuk Pięknych im. Władysława Strzemińskiego w  Łodzi (ASP w Łodzi) uczestniczy w programie LLP Erasmus od roku akademickiego 2007/2008. Program całkowicie spełnił pokładane w nim oczekiwania na skuteczne wsparcie procesu umiędzynarodowienia uczelni. Konsekwentna realizacja planów współpracy oraz intensyfikacja wymiany z roku na rok sprawiła, że aktualnie (2011/2012) uczelnia współpracuje z 40 uczelniami z różnych krajów Europy.

Stosunek liczby studentów wyjeżdżających do studentów przyjeżdżających do ASP w Łodzi z każdym rokiem stawał się coraz bardziej zrównoważony. W roku akademickim 2010/2011 wyjechało 30 studentów a przyjechało 29 studentów z instytucji partnerskich. Szczególnie cieszy fakt, iż studenci zagraniczni bardzo pozytywnie wypowiadają się o etapie studiów realizowanym w ASP w Łodzi i polecają uczelnię innym osobom, jako miejsce pierwszego wyboru w kolejnych edycjach różnych programów wymiany studenckiej.

ASP w Łodzi będzie kontynuować strategię otwarcia uczelni na międzynarodowe kontakty z uczestnictwem w programie LLP Erasmus jako ważną jej częścią, która już udowodniła swą skuteczność. W zakresie współpracy międzynarodowej uczelnia chce dążyć do uzyskania coraz pełniejszego jej umiędzynarodowienia bazując przy tym na dotychczasowym dorobku artystycznym i dydaktycznym. Priorytetem pozostanie mobilność studentów i kadry dydaktycznej, która nie tylko daje szansę na zdobywanie nowych doświadczeń przez uczestniczące w niej osoby ale również jest działaniem aktywnie wpływającym na rozwój dotychczasowych kontaktów uczelni jak i szansą na nawiązywanie współpracy z nowymi instytucjami partnerskimi.

 Udział w programie Erasmus i uzyskiwane na tym polu sukcesy są traktowane jako czynnik podnoszący prestiż uczelni, świadczący o jej nowoczesności i otwartości. Wszelkie informacje na ten działań podejmowanych przez uczelnię w ramach programu Erasmus będą umieszczane na stronie internetowej uczelni, na tablicach ogłoszeń jak również będą wymieniane w bieżących publikacjach i raportach.

Uczestnictwo studentów ASP w Łodzi w programie Erasmus oparte jest na uznawalności okresu studiów odbytych w uczelni partnerskiej, co możliwe jest dzięki obligatoryjnemu zastsosowaniu systemu ECTS wraz z lokalnym systemem ocen. Aktualna informacja o podpisanych przez uczelnię umowach i dostępnych w ich ramach miejscach w poszczególnych uczelniach partnerskich jest dostępna na stronie internetowej Biura Współpracy z Zagranicą ASP w Łodzi (http://int.asp.lodz.pl). Studenci mają też możliwość odbycia konsultacji z Koordynatorem Uczelnianym i Koordynatorami Wydziałowymi odnośnie wszystkich kwestii związanych z udziałem w programie Erasmus. Dodatkowo Koordynatorzy opiekują się studentami przyjeżdżającymi, pomagając im w ułożeniu ich indywidualnych programów studiów, gdyż mają oni możliwość skorzystania z pracowni i kursów na różnych wydziałach. Spotkania informacyjne organizowane na początku ich pobytu mają za zadanie umożliwić studentom zagranicznym dokonanie właściwych wyborów.

Istotnym elementem programu Erasmus są także wyjazdy studentów ASP w Łodzi na staże. Z każdym rokiem rośnie liczba studentów zainteresowanych tym rodzajem mobilności. W roku akademickim 2010/2011 z tej opcji skorzystało 10 studentów. Ten rodzaj aktywności daje studentom i uczelni możliwość rozszerzenia współpracy międzynarodowej również o przedsiębiorstwa czy instytucje spoza sektora szkolnictwa wyższego i pozawala na zainicjowanie współdziałania nauki i sztuki ze światem biznesu.

Wymiana kadry dydaktycznej i pracowników administracji jest organizowana centralnie przez Biuro Współpracy z Zagranicą, natomiast uzgodnienia merytoryczne prowadzone są bezpośrednio przez zainteresowanych. Przy realizacji wszystkich wyjazdów mają zastosowanie procedury i dokumentacja zgodna z wymogami programu.

Strzemiński Academy of Art, Łódź (ASP Łódź) has been participating in the programme since the academic year 2007/2008. The programme has fulfilled all the expectations related to the process of turning the  academy into an internationalized institution.  The consistent execution of all the planned activities to support the intensification of exchange programme year by year resulted in current cooperation with 40 institutions of higher education in many different countries in Europe.

The relation between outgoing and incoming students has become balanced over the years. In the academic year of 2010/2011 30 students from the ASP Łódź participated in the programme and 29 students from partner institution decided to come to Łódź to study art. The fact that incoming students have a high opinion about this phase in their academic careers  is extremely satisfying.

ASP Łódź will continue the strategy of opening the academy for international cooperation with LLP Erasmus as a key element that has already proved its efficiency.  In the area of international cooperation the goal of fuller internationalization has been set. All the activities are to be based on the artistic and educational achievements of the academy.  The priority will remain unchanged: mobility of students and academic teachers that not only provides the an opportunity for gaining new experience by the participants but also enables the development of already existing cooperation between partner institutions and is often an occasion to establish new cooperation.

The participation in LLP Eramsus and successes achieved within the framework of the programme  have always been perceived as something that raises the prestige of the academy  and proves its modernity and openness towards the  possibilities offered by the world of  today.  The information related to all the activities undertaken through the programme is available on the website of the ASP Łódź, on the notice boards, it is also mentioned in different kinds of publications and reports.

The participation of students  in the programme is based on the recognition of each study period spent in foreign partner institutions.  It is possible due to the introduction of the European Credit Transfer and Accumulation System(ECTS).  The up-to- date information about bilateral agreement signed by the academy with European partners is available at http://int.asp.lodz.pl  - the website of the International Relations Office of the ASP Łódź. Students can also consult all the matters related to the programme with Faculty Coordinators and Institutional Coordinator.  The Coordinators are also responsible for giving guidance to all incoming students during their stay at the academy starting from the very difficult time of first days through all their possible enquiries.  Meetings organized at beginning of every semester are supposed to help  students  to choose the best suitable studios for their individual Learning Agreement.

A very important part of the programme are internships.  The number of students interested in this type of mobility increases with every year. In the academic year 2010/2011 10 students took the opportunity and did their internship at selected companies, enterprises or institutions in European countries. This kind of mobility enables students and the academy to move the international cooperation to yet another level and supports the establishing of cooperation between institutions working in different areas such as art, science and business.     

The mobility of academic teacher and other academic staff is organized by central unit (International Relations Office).
