International cooperation

The Strzemiński Academy of Art Łódź understands the necessity of keeping pace with the newest trends and education concepts in art and design. The school pays a lot of attention to maintenance and extension of its international contacts with a special focus on Poland's neighbouring countries.

The core of the Academy's international contacts remains the LLP/Erasmus Programme of the EU. Currently, we cooperate with more than 30 European schools within its framework. You can see their detailed list here.

However, the Academy traditionally participates in many independent and autonomous artistic or didactic actions, initiated by specific departments or studios with colleagues from foreign schools and other institutions like museums, art centres, galleries and trade fairs. Thanks to their bottom-up origin, these actions every year form a real multitude of events, adding to the diversified and dynamic life of the Academy's community.
